Do yourself a favor and stick to the tacos, they are great! If you get the blonde waitress with the thick European accent, use lots of patience, because she sucks at her job and for some reason they won't fire her. ANY OTHER WAIT STAFF HAS ALWAYS GONE ABOVE AND BEYOND HERE.....it's just one bad seed they won't get rid of. The tamales used to be my favorite, but last time they were hard as a rock on the ends. If you want sour cream, be prepared to pay extra. Salsa is hit or miss from a day to day basis. Some days it's as thin as soup stock and bland, other days it's thicker and good.

JoAnne Tillett4/25/2019To die for Tacos! This place is legit! Great authentic Mexican cuisine. I had Tacos while the ladies had burritos and a burrito bowl. The serving sizes were large and well seasoned. One of the best tacos I’ve ever had.
The chicken and pork flavorful and the other ingredients complemented them. The burritos I’m am told was delicious and they were huge. Highly recommended and will visit multiple times when we are in town.SiestaKeyTravels9/09/2019 -
a good choice for authentic Mexican food We went there, intially headed for El Toro Bravo, which use to be in same small strip mall area. We decided to give it a try and were glad we did. I ordered a combo plarte, but I would recommend a burrtito special my wife ordered. El Toro Bravo is still our number one for Mexixan food, but Burittos is a great second choice..

Nice Local Find Stopped in to this cute little strip mall Mexican restaurant for a light dinner. Menu had all the standard Mexican dishes. We settled on a couple of tacos each and a side of refried beans. Food was excellent, homemade pico was great, as well as the chip sauce. Not much to look at on the outside but worth the stop. Service was prompt and friendly. Prices were reasonable.
HandsomeMoose2/27/2020Very friendly atmosphere with on point customer service and attention. Al Grabo (owner) makes sure every guest is greeted and seated promptly. Large menu with lots of choices, all natural ingredients. Generous portions. Decor is simple and authentic. Nice, easy to get to location off of the main highway with ample parking right next to the restaurant.
When we were there on a Saturday afternoon, there was a steady stream of customers coming and going for both take-out and dine in.
Basket of chips and salsa comes right to the table immediately after seating, and the food arrives a short time later. Free refills on soft drinks.
You must give Burritos a try, and come with an open mind. This is not your typical Mexican restaurant chain advertised on T.V. This is fresh, authentic fare made fresh to order.OJ Bull Dogone7/14/2014 -
You have to eat here......
I am a BURRITO connoisseur..lol...seriously I eat 3 to 5 a week and from coast to coast. I went here and asked for a " special burrito" and they exceeded my expectations. I asked for steak, shrimp, French fries, pico, quac, Chipotle sauce, and cheese....look at the monster they made me in the pic and get the same. One of the best I have ever had....

I’ve come to Burritos for about 2 years pretty regularly, and it’s always been consistent. They listen to customer feedback.
They recently upgraded the restaurant, and it’s a much better dining experience. By far my favorite Mexican spot in Sarasota.Adam WrecknRecords6/06/2019Absolutely terrific! Wonderful menu choices; we ordered four different plates and shared. Couldn't decide which was best, however, all were mighty tasty. We were impressed by the friendly service (the owner, actually!), and even more pleased by the high quality of the food. Definitely will return --- soon!

They're polite they're friendly and thank you for your good fresh food and it's the one place I can go to and not have to go to the bathroom within 15 minutes which I can't say about every other place around here.
Spaz Modic3/17/2020I love the fish tacos. Such a great meal and a bargain!! I can only eat 2 of the 3 they give you.. so hello lunch! $2.99 Bohemian beers at happy hour. Great service. Plenty of parking. Super cute. The only negative was the rice. Dry and flavorless.. but the salsa and warm chips made up for it.
